Where you will work:
This position is eligible to sit in Denver CO, Bethesda MD, or Irvine CA.
The Field Operations Support Manager will primarily execute in-person and virtual training seminars for new site team members at transition communities being added to the portfolio and onboard new team members on the Field Operations Support team. This position will provide coverage and support to our communities with vacant Leasing and Property Manager positions. They will also provide managerial support to our communities with essential and time-sensitive hardships. This position will serve as the subject matter expert on direct operations, finances and mentoring.
This is a heavy travel position with up to 75% of the year or 3 weeks per month on the road or in the air.
A bit more about what you’ll do…
Execute in-person and virtual training seminars for new site team members at transition communities being added to the portfolio. Onboard new team members to the Field Operations department. May serve as the acting Community Manager wherever/ whenever assigned and provide the standard operational support required of AIR’s Community Managers. May provide regional oversight of all aspects of Property Management of multiple communities as assigned including profitability and financial direction; budget and forecast preparation; outreach and marketing; training and supervision of staff. Provide support to the Regional Offices in supporting the operations for properties assigned. Assist Property Managers, Service Managers, Regional Property Managers, Area Service Managers, Directors of Service & Quality and Directors of Operations in the completion of action plans required as the result of an audit.
Expectation and ability to travel at least 75% of the time with easy access to large Airport. Experience teaching courses and facilitating training for adult learners (in-person and virtual). Ability to lead and drive conversations with diverse audiences, including facilitating group discussions and presenting to teams. At least 5 years of experience in Community Operations At least 2 years of experience in direct Community Management role Proven track record in managing large properties, be a motivator, a good communicator, and a hands-on manager. Must possess strong team building, coaching and training skills, multiple site supervision experience and excellent customer service background, a strong financial results orientation and a demonstrated ability to enhance value at the community level.
AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team and company levels. We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with:
Expected base salary of $95,000- $110,000. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your work location (Atlanta or Denver) skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job. Base salary plus annual bonus. 25% Rent Discount available Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options available. HSA with company sponsored contributions, FSA (traditional and dependent care FSA). Short and long-term disability paid by the company. 401(K) plus up to 6% company contributions.
