This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term career growth, strong compensation, and a collaborative team environment.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience estimating BAS, HVAC controls, low-voltage, or electrical projects and possess strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, controls integration, and MEP drawings.</p><h3><strong>Schedule</strong></h3><p>Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM<br>40–50 hours per week</p><h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</li><li>PTO & Paid Holidays</li><li>Retirement Plan</li><li>Short & Long-Term Disability</li><li>Performance Bonuses</li><li>Career Growth Opportunities</li></ul><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Review architectural, mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs for controllers, field devices, conduit/cabling, and labor requirements</li><li>Develop detailed cost estimates, Bills of Material (BOMs), and labor allocations using estimating software</li><li>Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing for specialty controls and installation services</li><li>Identify value-engineering opportunities to reduce project costs while maintaining system performance and specification compliance</li><li>Prepare proposals, scope narratives, inclusions/exclusions, and pricing breakdowns</li><li>Participate in bid reviews, project hand-off meetings, and customer discussions</li><li>Maintain risk assessments for design gaps, long-lead items, integration complexity, and cybersecurity considerations</li><li>Update historical pricing databases and labor productivity metrics based on completed projects</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred</li><li>Experience estimating BAS, HVAC controls, electrical, or low-voltage systems</li><li>Strong understanding of BAS platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, Distech, or Alerton</li><li>Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, controls diagrams, sequences of operation, and network risers</li><li>Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based control networks</li><li>Proficiency with Excel and estimating software such as Accubid, Sage, Trimble, or similar</li><li>Familiarity with RSMeans, NECA, or SMACNA labor units preferred</li><li>OSHA-10 certification preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated BAS professional looking to join a stable company with exciting projects and long-term advancement potential.<br><br>INDH</p>",
