Description

Reporting to the Peer Support Supervisor provides peer-based recovery support to individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Using lived experience in recovery, the CPSW builds trust, promotes hope, and supports individuals in achieving their personal recovery goals. This position serves individuals who may have experienced homelessness, incarceration, or justice involvement and works collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support clients during crises and provide relapse-prevention assistance Share lived experience appropriately to support hope and engagement. Educate the participants on behavioral health, promoting healthy resources and daily skills training to provide the highest quality person-centered care. Liaison with family, friends, partners, and outside resources to create a supportive environment and ensure continuity of care. Participates in weekly clinical meetings and staffing. Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development. Provide services to both youth and adults across various treatment settings Respond to emotional support crisis during nights, weekends, or on-call shifts Familiarity with community resources, including mental health, social, financial, educational, housing, employment, childcare, and other support that may be required. Facilitate peer-led groups and structured recovery activities. May use personal vehicle to transport clients to: Appointments, Recovery-related activities, Community resources Provide assistance to Santa Fe Recovery programs as needed Respond to community-based crisis calls as part of a mobile response. Operate a company vehicle when responding to crisis situations. Carry and manage the mobile crisis phone during assigned shifts. Participate in on-call rotation, providing 24/7 coverage as scheduled. Support de-escalation and connection to services during crises. Maintain Professional boundaries in the peer support role Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner Maintain availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Perform other duties as assigned
