Description

At Refined Technologies, we believe operating with an eternal purpose fuels excellence. This guides everything we do; it gives us a purpose that is greater than ourselves. RTI is the leader in the chemical cleaning segment of the refining industry, providing patented chemistries, processes, and equipment for cleaning and treating units during shutdowns. While focused on clients, we are fueled by our mission to: Honor God Always, Help People Develop, Pursue Excellence, and Earn a Profit. We are a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial-minded organization full of servant-hearted leaders. Want to know more about our culture? Check out the RTI Playbook. If you’re ready for your work to matter, we’re ready to hear from you! We’re growing our team of Artisans with a Business Development Manager to support our wholly owned subsidiary, BioChem Systems. This role is responsible for driving national growth of BioChem’s cleaning and solvent replacement solutions, focusing on industrial and commercial customers across the region, excluding direct refinery operations. Duties & Responsibilities Proactively identify, pursue, and close new industrial customers across a defined national territory, allocating approximately 60% of efforts to new customer acquisition and 40% to expanding existing named accounts. Develop and execute structured national account plans to drive consistent growth and territory coverage. Maintain and grow existing accounts through strong relationship management, problem solving, and upselling opportunities. Lead on-site product demonstrations and performance trials to convert prospects into customers and showcase solution effectiveness. Replace incumbent chemical programs by clearly articulating and demonstrating measurable value through real-world results. Manage a short, transactional sales cycle, typically ranging from a few days to several weeks, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of opportunities. Maintain a disciplined, high-activity approach to prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management to consistently advance sales opportunities. Execute within an established sales process and effectively utilize CRM tools to track activity and performance. Collaborate closely with BioChem leadership and RTI technical support teams, including engineering and chemistry resources, to deliver tailored solutions. Consistently perform in a results-driven environment where success and earnings are directly aligned with individual performance. Supervisory Responsibilities None
