Aestheticians are licensed professionals who perform skincare services &amp; provide consultations for facial treatments, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and hair removal.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">An aesthetician&#39;s job duties include evaluating skin conditions and recommending appropriate, customized treatments, products &amp; at-home regimens for the correction &amp; management of teenage acne, adult hormonal acne, acne scarring, pigment irregularities, age management &amp; sun damage.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Possess the ability to perform treatment, product, or cosmetic consultations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide a coordinated treatment plan for patients of all ages and skin types to help them achieve their skin goals and optimal outcomes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately document EMR information for each patient visit, including all notes, photos, recommendations, services, and charges (including settings, peel layers, type, strength, and modalities).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish and foster relationships within the office, in conjunction with marketing efforts and through referrals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Educate and inform staff on services, trends, and promotions within our practice and the office(s) they serve.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follows and assists in the development or updating of written protocols as necessary.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with providers in the office to coordinate treatment plans with their guidance, ensuring compliance and preventing contraindications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sets up aesthetic room at the start of each day per protocol</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains, sterilizes, and sanitizes the treatment room after each patient, in accordance with OSHA standards, and thoroughly prepares, restocks, and cleans the room weekly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains equipment in accordance with company guidelines and standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for scheduling and coordinating future visits</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Calls new and established patients to follow up on their care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drives patient loyalty and engagement by sending cards, reminders, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Is attentive to inventory levels, expiration dates, and requests additional products as needed, so there is enough to recommend at the time of service.</li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Skills and Qualities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider&rsquo;s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to travel between multiple locations across the region.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Experience and Education:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least 2 years of hands-on experience with an advanced level of education to perform the functions needed for a medical establishment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced peel modalities, laser certification, and microneedling experience preferred.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Part-Time</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Wednesday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>LOCATION- Stuart, FL</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Founded in 1998, AQUA Dermatology is the Southeast&#39;s premier dermatology practice with over 110 locations throughout Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
