Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>2nd Ops Technician Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The 2nd Ops Technician I is responsible for ensuring quality parts are completed per the operation specifications listed on the print, process sheets, or work order. This position will perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations and setups on blasting, buffing, polishing, laser marking, laser welding, and deburring equipment. Other processes include light assembly and packaging components and product in preparation for shipping.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>2nd Shift:</strong>  Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:00am</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>2nd Ops Technician Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate equipment for laser marking, laser welding, blasting, buffing, polishing, assembly, and deburring </li>\n <li>Maintain average machine set-ups and targeted rates per hour efficiencies </li>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance</li>\n <li>Finish products in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements</li>\n <li>Work on components that require adjusting, fitting, and aligning to close tolerances</li>\n <li>Use basic inspection equipment such as a micrometer, caliper, Micro Vu, Optical Comparator plug gages and thread gages to inspect parts</li>\n <li>Read and understand basic blueprints</li>\n <li>Inspect products per the In-process Inspection (IP)</li>\n <li>Read and understand routers, DPM’s, MPS procedures and work order travelers</li>\n <li>Assemble and package diversified medical components, sub-assemblies, or products to customer requirements to procedure, instructions and prints</li>\n <li>Determine packaging by looking at the bill of materials (BOM)</li>\n <li>Adhere to clean-room requirements </li>\n <li>Perform a variety of duties such as molding, washing, label printing, labeling, deburring, tray and pouch packaging and sealing and boxing for sterilization. </li>\n <li>Deburr parts to print using deburring knives, hand grinding tool, dremel, or other deburring tools </li>\n <li>Identify and remove burrs from all types of thread holes and plate assemblies</li>\n <li>Read and understand job layouts</li>\n <li>Use a microscope and hand tools</li>\n <li>Operate laser marking and welding equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>2nd Ops Technician Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to run a variety of secondary operations equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to use a microscope and hand tools</li>\n <li>Ability to perform a variety of work duties </li>\n <li>Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)</li>\n <li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Organizational skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Criteria & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment </li>\n <li>Medical manufacturing experience</li>\n <li>Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>rms Company Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
