    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Engineering Support Specialist</span></strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and builds custom high-speed automation assembly machines for medical devices, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing.</p><p>The <strong>Engineering Support Specialist</strong> is responsible for supporting the mechanical engineering department in a variety of functions, including maintaining technical documentation, supporting engineering operations, and providing <strong>CAD/PDM system administration and support.</strong> This position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day engineering operations and assisting engineers with technical and administrative tasks throughout projects.</p><p>This is an entry level position in the Mechanical Engineering department.</p><p>This position is 100% onsite in our South Elgin, IL location. Occasional travel to our Belvidere, IL location may be required.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Serve as the primary CAD and PDM Administrator, working with IT to maintain system performance and support the engineering department</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Complete technical writing tasks including engineering standards, work instructions, and customer-facing documentation such as owner&rsquo;s manuals</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work with Purchasing, Service, Sales, and other departments to research and resolve parts-related inquiries, including identifying components and supporting order requests</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Support BOM comparison, validation, and synchronization between CAD/PDM and ERP system</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform mechanical design and detailing&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate CAD best practices to the engineering team</p><p><strong>What You Will Bring:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or certificate with emphasis on mechanical design or equivalent experience&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with CAD/PDM administration preferred</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to develop technical documents including standards and procedural instructions.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to read and modify engineering drawings and 3D solid models</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with the following software: SolidWorks, PDM, ERP, AutoCAD, DraftSight, Outlook, Excel, Word</p><p><br></p><p>Haumiller Engineering compensation decisions are based on relevant factors such as job-related skills, experience and education or training.
