These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator</strong></p>\n<p>South Haven, MI</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$18/hour day shift & $20/hr night shift </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Load machines with rolls of paper, thread machines, and make splices as necessary</li>\n <li>Remove coils of twisted paper from machines and stack on pallets</li>\n <li>Monitor machines while in operation</li>\n <li>Adjust clutch to maintain coil integrity</li>\n <li>Verify proper width and thickness of paper</li>\n <li>Reporting defective or non-functioning test equipment</li>\n <li>Gauge dies to assure proper size according to production specifications</li>\n <li>Initiate production records</li>\n <li>Perform quality tests and report any non-conformities</li>\n <li>Load and set up machine to product specifications as required</li>\n <li>Remove slitted pads from machine and leveraging shaft and pads out of machine</li>\n <li>Stack cut pads on pallet or deliver them to Spinners as necessary</li>\n <li>Use and maneuver hand cart</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>3 years of factory experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Must have basic reading, math, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n <li>Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen</li>\n <li>Ability to work 12 hour days</li>\n <li>Work overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management</li>\n <li>Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation</li>\n <li>Lifting and carrying a minimum of 60-70 lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDQSR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
