    "description": "<h2>Working Hours/Days</h2>8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday or as required\n<h2>Basic Duties</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Represent Altorfer at training update conferences and other training initiatives.</li>\n <li>Function as liaison with Caterpillar regarding technical and professional training. </li>\n <li>Assist in developing Altorfer’s training offerings for all employees to align with across the table initiatives.</li>\n <li>Schedule and conduct training classes on current products and ICC classes when needed.</li>\n <li>Drive prerequisite training for ILT classes. </li>\n <li>Maintain enrollment & enrollment deletions in Dealer Performance Center (DPC), assign DPC web training. Maintain training records & function as DPC Administrator for Altorfer.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>2-5 plus years of previous experience as a training instructor, training employees required.</li>\n <li>This position will include course design and development. </li>\n <li>Related Technical training and problem analysis experience in heavy equipment industry is required.</li>\n <li>Associates of Applied Science degree in Diesel Technology or related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Training, Communications or similar program is preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong sense of urgency and strong customer service skills required.</li>\n <li>Must have strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.</li>\n <li>Some travel is required.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 40lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate to low. May intermittently sit at a desk for a period of time to answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. 30% of travel is required.
