    "description_html": "<p>The Mechanical Engineer provides engineering analysis and support to certify mechanical and electrical equipment for seismic and wind events to meet building code requirements and industry standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities not limited to:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>1.</strong> <strong>Carry out, document and communicate status of the project plan</strong></p><ul><li>Review and analyze customer supplied drawings for product seismic and or wind certification. Follow the master project schedule and established methodology to meet established schedule, details, timeline and parameters.</li><li>Perform analysis and report on sheet metal and/or structural steel components of non-structural equipment to determine the equipment’s ability to withstand the specified seismic or wind loads</li><li>Write formal reports documenting the findings and analysis of the equipment undergoing certification.</li><li>Prepare project status reports.</li><li>Design and analyze test fixtures.</li><li>Coordinate test plans with Field Engineer.</li><li>Coordinate all logistical aspects of shake tests.</li><li>Communicate any scope deviations to management.</li></ul><p>2. <strong>Manage customer expectations</strong></p><ol><li>Proactively engage the customer, communicate project status relative to the project plan and schedule.</li></ol><p><strong>3.</strong> <strong>Create clear and concise documents as required by the project plan and general engineering principles</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive documentation to be understandable, technically correct and presentable.</li><li>Create certification document for presentation to executive management.</li></ul>",
