    "description": "<h2>Job Description & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a Technical Trainer who will be responsible for conducting, developing, and evaluating customer-focused hands-on technical training programs to join our team in New York City. You will develop training outlines, presentations, materials, and evaluations for the company’s Wave Relay® training courses. You will also be responsible for evaluating training programs on an on-going basis by collecting feedback from customers and working with internal teams to ensure maximally effective training programs. </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directing and delivering effective hands-on classroom Wave Relay® training </li>\n <li>Developing comprehensive training programs for customer-focused Wave Relay® training courses </li>\n <li>Developing training materials including outlines, presentations, course handouts, and knowledge/skills tests </li>\n <li>Creating instructor materials for Field Application Engineers who deliver training programs </li>\n <li>Developing and conducting training effectiveness evaluations to continually enhance the company’s customer-focused training programs </li>\n <li>Mentoring instructors to enhance customer-focused training programs </li>\n <li>Ensuring all training programs and courses meet business needs and quality standards </li>\n <li>Conducting needs assessments, anticipate future training needs, and plan accordingly </li>\n <li>Manage course enrollments </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Qualifications & Experience </h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical degree or equivalent knowledge/skills, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering  </li>\n <li>Experience teaching in a classroom environment </li>\n <li>Experience conducting and evaluating customer-focused training programs or experience speaking to groups of people </li>\n <li>Understanding of networking and IP scheming </li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to obtain a United States security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of radio frequencies (RF) and wireless communications </li>\n <li>Knowledge of mobile ad hoc networking (MANET)  </li>\n <li>Experience with Wave Relay® products  </li>\n <li>Experience conducting training for both commercial and government customers </li>\n <li>Active United States security clearance </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>The base pay for this role can vary from $132,750 to $165,875 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
