Ensures Kurita America quality standards are maintained throughout the execution phase of projects. Acts as a technical resource for internal and external customers on design related items.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Title</strong>:  Senior Designer</p>\n<p><strong>Shift</strong>: Day, hybrid work schedule 40 hours a week M-F</p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong>: Brooklyn Park, MN</p>\n<p><strong>Salary:  $80000 to $90000</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews Sales proposals, estimates, quotes, customer plans and specifications to establish project requirements and creates designs and prepares engineering drawings with oversight</li>\n <li>Work with project team to review customer requirements for equipment size, function and process design to assure proper drawing representation with oversight.</li>\n <li>Create Process & Instrumentation Diagrams that captures components, hydraulics, chemical feed, electrical, etc. for use by project team and customer</li>\n <li>Create General Arrangement Drawings that are used to communicate critical design details to the project team and customer</li>\n <li>Create fabrication/installation/assembly drawings for use by internal production team and external fabricators and contractors</li>\n <li>Ensure manufactured equipment conforms to project requirements and standard design.</li>\n <li>Assist Purchasing with the qualification process for new suppliers</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of new standard product offerings.</li>\n <li>Performance of other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3 plus years of water treatment or industrial equipment design experience such as skid or plant piping layout</li>\n <li>Two year Associate Degree, technical field preferred.</li>\n <li>3 plus years of CAD experience such as SolidWorks.</li>\n <li>Excellent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical and Mental requirements:  Required to sit for extended periods of time.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EEO/AA/F/M/Vet/Disabled</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>",
