In addition, we have a robust internship and externship program, and frequently host student tours.</em> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform lab experiments within well-defined guidelines and under direct supervision; operate laboratory equipment.</li>\n <li>Prepare solutions, set up equipment, perform sampling, conduct in‑process testing, and complete end‑of‑run cleanup</li>\n <li>Assist with project planning and scheduling</li>\n <li>Perform testing and data analysis</li>\n <li>Execute project tasks, including optimization runs and equivalency studies</li>\n <li>Support auction‑acquired equipment start‑up, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance</li>\n <li>Coordinate with vendors</li>\n <li>Perform calibrations</li>\n <li>Learn and understand equipment operation</li>\n <li>Support new equipment start‑up, troubleshooting, and maintenance</li>\n <li>Create, revise, and update batch records</li>\n <li>Develop new procedures for facility operations and new equipment</li>\n <li>Set up downstream processing operations</li>\n <li>Clean and organize downstream areas</li>\n <li>Run and maintain downstream processes</li>\n <li>Assist with scale‑up activities</li>\n <li>Operate and maintain fermentor vessels and processes</li>\n <li>Order and organize equipment</li>\n <li>Clean and maintain production areas</li>\n <li>Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Education\n  <ul>\n   <li>Associates Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in a pilot lab</li>\n   <li>Bachelors Degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience in a pilot lab</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Aseptic technique experience within a cGMP manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Hands‑on experience with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.</li>\n <li>Background in cell culture laboratory operations, including handling of mammalian or microbial systems.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with downstream processing (e.g., filtration, chromatography, clarification).</li>\n <li>Experience operating or supporting bench‑scale or pilot‑scale fermentors/bioreactors.</li>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure and able to handle multiple projects efficiently.</li>\n <li>Analytical lab skills with a strong scientific curiosity and innovative thinking.</li>\n <li>Reliable and self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Good understanding of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)</li>\n <li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of English, both written and oral.</li>\n <li>Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>We are an equal opportunity employer.
