We work closely with our clients to truly understand their needs and to deliver the precise product to solve their immediate problem or eliminate future problems. \n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a highly motivated individual with architectural and/or construction experience to join our team as a Construction Inspector. The position is hybrid and based in dCEI’s Marlton office with travel in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction codes and standards, the ability to identify and correct construction defects, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. The construction inspector will be responsible for inspecting construction projects to ensure that they are built according to plans and specifications. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Monitor the quality of construction work.</li>\n <li>Approve or reject construction materials and workmanship.</li>\n <li>Investigate and resolve construction problems.</li>\n <li>Prepare reports and documentation.</li>\n <li>Communicate with clients, contractors, other inspectors and supervisors regarding specifications and qualifications.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years’ experience in construction, engineering and/or architecture in New Jersey and Pennslyvania.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>\n <li>Independent and critical thinking abilities.</li>\n <li>The ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management.</li>\n <li>Basic IT literacy and the ability to manage and communicate electronic data.</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and decision-making skills, plus the ability to speak laterally.</li>\n <li>Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>We strive to provide a great company culture consisting of a variety of team building events: trivia nights, softball and volleyball leagues, mini golf tournaments, BBQ’s, happy hours, poker nights, catered weekly staff meetings, surfboard lending programs, and much more.
