Who We Are:  CAMBA is a community of staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors and partners who work together to build an inclusive New York City, where all children and adults have access to the resources and supports, they need to thrive.  We take a comprehensive approach by offering more than 180 integrated programs in: Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. We reach almost 80,000 individuals and families, including almost 13,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today. CAMBA operates six transitional housing facilities for families with children experiencing homelessness funded by New York City Department of Homeless Services. Each facility offers clients a supportive, structured, therapeutic, safe, and drug-free environment. We provide comprehensive case management and housing placement services to ensure that families move to permanent housing as quickly as possible. Recreation and evidence-based programming is also available to enhance the services to the families, school aged children as well for parenting support and support to young adults. Position: MOMS Clinician Reports To: MOMS Program Manager Location: Brooklyn, NY 11212 What The MOMS Clinician Does:  Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality. Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures. Comply with any and all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients’ and client confidentiality in order to engage them in case management services. Review all documentation establishing clients' eligibility for program and make file copies. Create and maintain client files. Input client data and client progress information into CARES database. Complete training on the MOMS Partnership model and MOMS Stress Management Course. Co-deliver the MOMS Stress Management course with the MOMS CMHA. Complete participant check-ins/triage for additional clinical supports and services as needed and in accordance with agency protocol. Participate in weekly clinical reflective supervision with MOMS Clinical Supervisor and the MOMS CMHA. Consult with Elevate throughout sustainment programming to implement and improve program processes (e.g., attending initial sustainment transition TA, attending biannual check-in meetings). Carry out other tasks, as needed to support MOMS programming.   Required Education, Experience and Skills: Degree (or currently in the process of obtaining a degree) in social work, psychology, family therapy, counseling, or a related field. Experience working as a therapist or mental health clinician with adults. Experience conducting standardized mental health assessments with adults. Experience providing manualized and/or group-based mental health treatments/programs. Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competence skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bi-lingual, English and Spanish. State licensure to provide mental health treatment is strongly preferred. Experience working as a therapist/clinician in maternal mental health and/or parenting. Familiarity with principles/techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Experience working as part of a treatment team that includes nonclinical staff. Experience providing manualized and/or group-based mental health treatments/programs. Pre and/or Post Employment Requirements: Must obtain State Central Registry (SCR) clearance, The Register of Substantiated Category One Cases of Abuse or Neglect aka Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance and Criminal history information checks via fingerprinting with New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) prior to start of employment. Ability to maintain clearances throughout the duration of employment. Required to become First Aid/CPR certified. Required to become certified in overdose prevention.                 Submit medical Tuberculosis (TB) test results as part of the onboarding process. Compensation : 74k - 76k annually When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.   Status: - Full-time (35 hours per week) Benefits : CAMBA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays.
