    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The Construction Controls and Warranty Technician is responsible for commissioning, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and performing other related duties. This individual must be able to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC issues on various system types.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\">Required Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">At least 4 years of experience in HVAC service and installation. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Thorough understanding of most HVAC equipment and its major components. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\">Desired Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong ability to read and understand technical instructions and follow blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Possession of a valid driver’s license.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong knowledge of equipment, tools, and methods commonly applied in repairing air conditioning and heating equipment in commercial buildings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong knowledge of principles of operation of air conditioning and heating systems, and safety practices concerning HVAC work.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong ability to diagnose equipment and determine if repair and maintenance work is needed or not; and ability to keep records of work done, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Excellent ability to explain technical information to clients in a way they will understand.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong ability to perform assigned tasks independently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong knowledge of computers and the ability to apply the necessary software tools for HVAC duties.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Knowledge and training with Pelican, VRF, and VFD control systems.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\">Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Carry out mechanical and electrical inspection and maintenance on equipment to bring them to optimal performance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Perform assessment, repair including replacement of components to properly commission or repair equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Determine equipment commissioning or repair needs by applying technical skills and experience, including system operations and preventive maintenance experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Serve as a company representative to other contractors, owners, and trades.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Complete and submit necessary start-up and repair documentation and communicate findings to vendors, customers, and necessary Solace team members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Perform other functions that may be assigned by the service coordinator or manager.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Consistently and clearly communicate all findings, status of repairs, and any other needs regarding properties and equipment to Customer and Solace Enterprise Office in a timely manner.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Complete start-up reports, daily reports, and work orders accurately and on time.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\">Physical demands and work environment:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
