          "text": "<p>As Health and Safety Advisor - Jobsite, you are primarily responsible for managing the health and safety prevention component of the worksites assigned to you. You will support and advise internal clients (managers, site supervisors, employees) in the application of established policies, procedures and practices.</p><p><strong>The role would include the following but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate in the development and implementation of various H&amp;S programs, policies, procedures and activities</li><li>Prepare and conduct health and safety training and train new employees on occupational health and safety;</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of construction sites and work methods to ensure that safety rules are observed, that protective equipment is used properly and that all the necessary safety devices are in place and in good working order;</li><li>Develop the project-specific prevention program and see that it is implemented on the jobsite;</li><li>Require that immediate corrections be made to unsafe conditions found during inspections;</li><li>Issue and follow up on correction notices;</li><li>Respond when a potential incident occurs and investigate following an incident;</li><li>Constantly ensure that health and safety is maintained on the site by all contractors and visitors alike;</li><li>Participate in various meetings dealing with safety;</li><li>Participate in the development of a H&amp;S program that meets the needs and responsibilities of employees and managers.           "text": "<ul><li>University degree in human resources management or industrial relations or equivalent training and experience in occupational health and safety;</li><li>5-8 years of experience on construction sites in an occupational health and safety role;</li><li>NCSO accreditation or equivalent accreditation in construction safety necessary</li><li>Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations, including industrial hygiene concepts;</li><li>Knowledge of the major hazards found on construction sites such as: working at heights, confined spaces, hazardous materials, lifting of loads, etc.;</li><li>Knowledge of the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems, and techniques for conducting audits;</li><li>Knowledge of occupational health and safety management standards (e.g. OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and COR) (an asset);</li><li>Mobility required within Canada.</li></ul>",
