Backed by proven industry expertise, a deep commitment to patient care, the latest technology, and exceptionally talented team members, Valeris provides the data and strategic insights, patient support services and healthcare provider engagement tools to help life sciences companies successfully commercialize new products.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Valeris provides commercialization solutions to more than 500 life sciences customers and has provided access and affordability support to millions of patients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The company is headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina and Jeffersonville, Indiana. </p>\n<p>To learn more about Valeris, please visit www.valeris.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> The Reporting & Analytics team provides ongoing support and insight to external clients, as well as to the internal operational leadership team.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Senior Analyst must be able to review and analyze data, present conclusions in a logical and clear manner, and work effectively as part of a team, will provide and capture data and translate into information and reports and the transmission of this knowledge into actionable decisions.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Sr. Analyst may play a role in mentoring emerging leaders at Valeris. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<p>Advanced custom reporting</p>\n<p>o   Manage requirements gathering, specifications development, design and build of custom production-level reports for program ops, management, & client use</p>\n<p>o   Make & own deliverable commitments (substance, format, and dev time), and provide timely communications re: status &/or delivery challenges.  When conflicts arise, negotiate agreement on a path forward</p>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Communicate clearly on requested deliverables, provide timelines and recommendations based on best practices, and prioritize work by accounts as necessary</li>\n  <li>Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures governing access to and distribution of PII and other confidential data</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p>·       Data & reporting expertise</p>\n<p>o   Maintain up-to-date familiarity with Valeris’ data sources/source systems</p>\n<p>o   Serve as Subject Matter Expert to provide recommendations and expertise for data & reporting capabilities to assigned programs and/or clients </p>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Investigate data anomalies (identified through own or users’ activities), communicate detailed findings to the appropriate person or group, and act as a valued partner in solution finding </li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p>o   Work with programming environments, SQL, MS Excel, MicroStrategy, free-form SQL, Valeris’ CRM platforms, and other applicable software or BI tools  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Systems & process improvement</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Identify opportunities to develop & implement solutions that streamline operations of frequent tasks</li>\n  <li>Identify, define, and coordinate with other departments to connect our data and reporting in new and innovative ways to improve Valeris’ suite of products and services. </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Leadership</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Provide leadership and training to other team members on fundamental data mining and report creation techniques and applications </li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p>o   Assist program staff in the understanding & use of self-service reporting tools, and the use and interpretation of Valeris’ data</p>\n<p>o   Be curious, unafraid to ask questions, and seek to expand your own knowledge of new tools, Valeris’ services+.  We’re always growing and want you to be, too</p>\n<p>o   Perform additional duties as assigned by Manager</p>\n<p>·       On time adherence to training deadlines for all corporate policies and procedures governing access to confidential data</p>\n<p>·       Ensure all SOPs are followed with consistency</p>\n<p>·       Conducts miscellaneous tasks or projects as assigned</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline</li>\n <li>Must have 4+ years of client-facing experience</li>\n <li>Experience interpreting data and presenting meaningful, client-ready business insights.</li>\n <li>Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, reporting, and use of data visualization tools</li>\n <li>Understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts and data warehousing</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Ability to elicit and fine-tune requirements and respond to/manage changes</li>\n <li>Solid technical writing skills. Ability to clearly and completely articulate work to be done and describe tasks using proper terminology</li>\n <li>Extensive use of SQL/SQL Server for reporting, problem solving, & investigative work, and query optimization</li>\n <li>Med-Advanced use of Excel for reporting & discovery (identify trends, interpret issues, find disparities)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, health care, insurance, direct marketing, or finance is highly desirable</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Work for Valeris?</strong></p>\n<p>We’re committed to supporting the well-being and success of our team members.
