          "text": "<p>Are you passionate about helping aspiring automotive technicians learn and get started in their career? We are seeking a qualified Technical Training Instructor to support a premium Automotive OEM at the OEM training facility. The primary purpose of this role is the training of dealership apprentice technicians in the diagnostic strategies and proper repair of vehicle systems by facilitating service technical training classes at the Regional Training Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with enthusiasm for improving the diagnostic capabilities of technicians who are just beginning their career in the automotive industry.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Facilitate training workshops for dealership apprentice technicians, with the goal of obtaining their initial OEM certification.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare workshops and vehicles for experiential learning.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Verify learners’ understanding of the subject matter using competency-based training.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Identify additional training needs based on learners’ feedback and assessment of skills.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure Regional Training Facility, tools, student guides, literature, vehicles, and training center are properly maintained.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain attendee training records in learning portal.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate regularly with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership team members to accomplish Corporate, Regional, and training department goals.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Perform light to medium lifting requirements in repair shop operation management.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assist Corporate Training staff in the development of technical training curriculum as required.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Continually enhance technical instructional facilitation skills, technical knowledge of vehicle systems, and diagnostic technology.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Comply with health and safety standards and maintain a safe work environment in the Training Center.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain shop cleanliness and follow published 5S standards.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain a professional relationship with customers and supplier personnel.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain and use equipment in the workshop to operational standard.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Take reasonable precautions to protect company vehicles.&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Excellent time management skills&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Charismatic personality and passion for adult education&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Excellent classroom facilitation skills&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Shop Management skills&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Thrives working independently but also enjoys working as part of a larger team&#xa0;</p></li></ul>",
