    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong>Responsible for operating and maintaining a Bridgeport machine to create metal parts, fixtures, and tooling according to project specifications, tooling instructions and standard charts.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma or Equivalent.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical Trade school preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, particularly with Bridgeport machines.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mechanical Aptitude</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to details</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Organizational skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic computer skills&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Time Management Skills&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to follow instructions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to setup, operate, breakdown and maintain a Bridgeport, Prototrac control, Jig bore, Jig grinder, and Surface grinder, manual lathes, and horning machines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and company operation sheets.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required to pass the Certified Operator Program and maintain certification status.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operates, setup, and breakdown conventional machines to produce products in accordance with production needs:&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Read and interpret customer blueprints and company operation sheets to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Records length of time for each job, and quantity of materials used for each job.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Verifies and visually inspects work and dimensions per operations sheet to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and preset gages.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Calculate speeds/feeds.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain specifications by observing tooling; taking measurements, detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; replacing worn tools.</li><li>Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.</li><li>Operates within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control.</li><li>Performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.</li><li>Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.</li><li>Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Working Conditions</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.</li></ul>\n<br/>First Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm",
