At MSA, we believe the best results come from collaboration, shared ownership, and a genuine commitment to helping communities succeed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Lead and Manage Projects</strong>: Oversee all phases of transportation projects — from scoping and budgeting to scheduling, QA/QC, and delivery</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Cultivate Client Relationships</strong>: Build trust with existing and prospective clients through virtual and in-person meetings, clear communication, and consistent follow-through</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Design Impactful Infrastructure</strong>: Develop innovative designs for roadways, bridges, trails, and other multimodal transportation facilities</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Develop Technical Deliverables</strong>: Prepare construction documents, including detailed plans, technical specifications, and bid packages that set projects up for success</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Navigate Regulatory Requirements</strong>: Prepare technical reports and secure permits, ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Support Proposal Development</strong>: Collaborate with the MSA team to review RFPs and contribute to compelling proposals that win work</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Mentor and Grow Talent</strong>: Guide and support junior engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environment</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Engage in Construction Oversight</strong> <em>(Bonus Skill)</em>: Apply construction management and field inspection expertise to monitor project implementation (a plus, but not required)</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Communicate with the Public</strong>: Create and present compelling visual displays and messaging for public meetings and engagement efforts</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering</strong> is required</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Professional Engineer (PE) licensure</strong> is required — <em>Minnesota PE preferred</em></p></li>\n <li><p><strong>4+ years of experience</strong> in mobility or transportation engineering</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>MnDOT project experience</strong> is a strong plus</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with <strong>Bentley OpenRoads Designer</strong> is desired</p></li>\n <li><p>Proven experience — or a strong interest — in <strong>project management and client engagement</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent <strong>written and verbal communication skills</strong>, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly</p></li>\n <li><p>A collaborative mindset and <strong>eagerness to thrive in a consulting environment</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer — <em>sponsorship is not available for this role</em></p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h3>Benefits & Compensation</h3>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $86,900 – $139,100, depending on experience and qualifications.
