          "text": "<p>Renesas is seeking a highly skilled&#xa0;<strong>Power Supply Field Applications Engineer</strong>&#xa0;to validate next‑generation digital multiphase power solutions used by major datacenter and AI customers.<br>\nThis is a&#xa0;<strong>critical, customer-facing technical role</strong>&#xa0;that ensures Renesas delivers world‑class power integrity, robustness, and performance for the industry’s most demanding computing platforms.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience in&#xa0;<strong>multiphase buck converters</strong>,&#xa0;<strong>VR (voltage regulator) validation</strong>, and&#xa0;<strong>lab-based characterization</strong>&#xa0;of high‑current power stages used in server and AI hardware platforms.&#xa0; Renesas provides comprehensive training on our digital multiphase power solutions, ensuring new hire engineers quickly become experts in our architectures, tools, and validation methodologies.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Power Supply &amp; VR Validation</strong></p><ul><li>Execute comprehensive validation of Renesas multiphase power solutions for AI, server and datacenter platforms.</li><li>Perform&#xa0;<strong>bench-level electrical testing</strong>, including load/line transient response, sequencing, fault response, efficiency characterization, telemetry verification, and protection features.</li><li>Develop and execute&#xa0;<strong>test plans, corner-case validation matrices, and automated test flows</strong>, ensuring complete coverage of all operating modes.</li><li>Validate compliance with customer VR and power delivery specifications (Intel VR13/14/VRM specs, AMD SVIx, custom AI platform specs).</li></ul><p><strong>System-Level Power Integration</strong></p><ul><li>Validate power integration on customer boards, including bring-up, debug, power sequencing, and interaction with SoC/GPU/ASIC power domains.</li><li>Characterize performance impacts related to&#xa0;<strong>inductors, MOSFETs, power stages, and PDN (power distribution network)</strong>.</li><li>Support customer engineering teams during bring-up and platform validation.</li></ul><p><strong>Debug &amp; Root Cause Analysis</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose issues using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, electronic loads, and automated instrumentation.</li><li>Work with design, systems, and field teams to root-cause issues and propose actionable fixes.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Documentation</strong></p><ul><li>Generate detailed validation reports capturing schematic/layout review, rework instructions, test methodologies, controller configuration files, waveforms, and results.</li><li>Partner with global design, system validation, and field application engineering teams to support key datacenter accounts.</li><li>Contribute to IP generation, validation methodologies, and continuous improvement of Renesas validation infrastructure.</li><li>Thrive in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>",
