If this is how you view your work as an OB Hospitalist, we invite you to consider joining our community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Supplemental OB Hospitalist position is designed to support the established groups of OB Hospitalists located at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. Additional opportunities for coverage at other sites within the Legacy system may be available if interested. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate $200 Hourly Rate Limited Duration Period; Subject to change based on fair market value.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The OB Hospitalists support the inpatient needs of the Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Maternal Fetal Medicine service. </li>\n <li>The OB Hospitalists and the MFM providers work closely together on a daily basis, and the MFM practice has 24/7 (not in-house) coverage available. </li>\n <li>The OB Hospitalist also provides backup to the LMG Midwifery Practice (all CNMs), coverage for unassigned labor/triage patients, support of our private practice OB colleagues as needed (i.e. C-section assisting). </li>\n <li>Both locations have Level IV NICUs and serve a vital role in the surrounding communities for high-risk pregnancies. Dedicated in-house Anesthesia is present 24/7 at both sites. </li>\n <li>Local academic OB/GYN and Family Medicine residents provide coverage 24/7 at LEMC, with occasional medical student rotations at both sites. </li>\n <li>No clinic responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent with residency completed in OB/GYN</li>\n <li>Bilingual a plus!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Procedures/skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full OB scope of both low and high-risk pregnancies including NSVD, operative vaginal delivery, cesarean section, management of third stage labor, hemorrhage, level 1 ultrasound, repair of episiotomy and lacerations, VBAC, post-partum D&C etc.</li>\n <li>In-house 24-hour shifts (designated, well-appointed call room)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN. </li>\n <li>Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon and Washington.</li>\n <li>Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please Note: No J1 or H-1B visa opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For additional information please formally apply or contact Erin Pendergraft at [email protected].</p>\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
