You have a strong track record of designing and managing projects related to water transmission and distribution, wastewater collection and pumping, stormwater infrastructure and management, transportation systems, and contract administration. With your expertise, you will play a key role in project planning, execution, and delivery while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Help Shape the Future of Municipal Infrastructure: </span>Contribute to the design and planning of civil infrastructure projects including water distribution, wastewater collection and pumping, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater management facilities;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Craft with Precision:</span> Assist in developing detailed design drawings and technical documentation;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lead and Innovate:</span> Provide people and technical leadership across project development and delivery, including overseeing engineering calculations, refining design concepts, and ensuring compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards. Support business development by responding to RFPs, managing client relationships, and participating in industry associations and conferences. Collaborate closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, innovative solutions;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Oversee Site Operations:</span> Conduct and lead site visits, field assessments, and infrastructure investigations. Provide technical guidance during construction, review contractor work for compliance, and support resident engineering services as needed; and</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Drive Project Success:</span> Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, cost estimates, proposals, and tender documents. Manage project deliverables, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to business development efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Capabilities and Credentials:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Educational and Professional Credentials: </span>A bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or related field) is required, with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience: </span>7+ years of experience in civil or municipal engineering, preferably within a consulting environment. Proven experience leading infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, and overseeing project teams;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical/Design Expertise:</span> Experience completing infrastructure condition and capacity studies for sewer, water, and stormwater systems, along with developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs. Proven ability to perform project management and construction administration services for municipal infrastructure projects;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic Communication &amp; Client Engagement: </span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
