    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a System Engineer Level 3 to provide senior technical leadership for the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of mission-critical packet-based systems for the Fort Meade Customer. This role leads the integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) hardware and software solutions while driving end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components. The position is responsible for ensuring interoperability, operational performance, and mission success across complex enterprise and communications environments.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems</li>\n <li>Drive end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure components</li>\n <li>Develop and evaluate system architectures, technical solutions, and integration strategies</li>\n <li>Lead requirements analysis, engineering assessments, and system design activities</li>\n <li>Oversee system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and operational readiness efforts</li>\n <li>Ensure interoperability, reliability, performance, and maintainability of deployed solutions</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Government stakeholders, vendors, engineers, and operational teams throughout the system lifecycle</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment plans, and engineering artifacts</li>\n <li>Support technology modernization initiatives and capability enhancements</li>\n <li>Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with ths customer </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required</li>\n <li>20+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or related technical experience</li>\n <li>Experience leading the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based systems</li>\n <li>Extensive experience with COTS and GOTS hardware and software solutions</li>\n <li>Strong experience driving end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components</li>\n <li>Experience developing and implementing system architectures and integration strategies</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of networking technologies, systems engineering principles, and lifecycle processes</li>\n <li>Experience supporting complex enterprise, communications, or mission-critical technology environments</li>\n <li>Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in a dynamic, mission-focused environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $240,000.00 - USD $250,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
