This is a senior position which will require knowledge and experience with Easement/ Right-of Way Surveys, Plats, ALTA&rsquo;s, boundaries, property descriptions, topographic surveys, and client relations.<p><u><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></u></p><ul><li>Coordinate Field Crews and Survey Technicians in the collection and calculation of field data</li><li>Data Processing</li><li>Perform research, field investigations, and project boundary calculations.</li><li>Preparation of boundary and topographical surveys, project control, metes and bounds descriptions and general survey support for engineering design projects.</li><li>Manage multiple projects and tasks</li><li>Adhere to the principles and practices of the Professional Land Surveying Practices Act</li><li>Define applicable scope(s) of work based on project requirements</li><li>Provide technical and operational guidance / advice to project teams, on-site representatives, and survey contractors</li><li>Writes, directs and/or reviews the writing of descriptions of land to satisfy legal requirements</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li><u>Education/Experience/Licensure</u></li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><ul><li>Technical Bachelor&#39;s Degree</li><li>Must possess current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License</li><li>Experience with Boundary/Topo, construction calculations, preparation of right-of-way acquisitions and easements, ALTA/ACSM (NSPS) Land Title Surveys, and AutoCAD/Carlson software</li><li>TxDOT and/or municipal experience preferred</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record required</li></ul></ul><ul><li><u>Skills</u></li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><ul><li>Ability to independently manage a team</li><li><span dir=\"ltr\" id=\"isPasted\">Understanding of and ability to support engineering services&nbsp;</span></li><li><span dir=\"ltr\" id=\"isPasted\">Works collaboratively with other departments&nbsp;</span></li><li><span dir=\"ltr\" id=\"isPasted\">Provides innovative geospatial solutions in support of engineering deliverables</span></li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must be hands-on</li><li>Ability to summarize project statuses and present effective management reports</li><li>Ability to plan and execute multiple project tasks</li><li>Proactive mindset</li><li>Excellent negotiation, problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong analytical ability with attention to detail</li><li>Passion to provide excellent Customer Service</li></ul></ul><div id=\"isPasted\"><div><p id=\"isPasted\" style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><em><span style='font-size:12px;line-height:107%;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'>Gessner Engineering is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
