In this position, you will plan, evaluate, organize and implement Physical Therapy (PT) treatment programs in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner for patients ages 0 - adulthood.</p>\n<p>Think you’ve got what it takes?</p>\n<ul>\n <li>4 weekend shifts per month</li>\n <li>Need someone that can train 12 weeks full time, if possible&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>Areas of coverage:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inpatient Adult Congenital Heart</li>\n <li>Inpatient/Outpatient Women's Health&nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; text-decoration-color:initial; text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-thickness:initial\">\n <div style=\"box-sizing:border-box; margin-right:0px\">\n  <p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Completes patient evaluations and reassessments in accordance with hospital and department guidelines</li>\n   <li>Develops an individualized plan of care based upon evaluation/reassessment findings according to hospital and departmental guidelines</li>\n   <li>Provides clinical support to assigned outpatient clinic or specialty program</li>\n   <li>Provides successful mentorship opportunities to less experienced staff (in area of specialty) as determined by evaluations completed by the “learner”</li>\n   <li>Documents patient information in Electronic Medical Record according to hospital and departmental guidelines with no more than six (6) errors per year</li>\n   <li>Provides clinical leadership role as a clinical instructor for at least 1 professional student per year</li>\n   <li>Informs manager or designee of all unsafe and potentially unsafe situations, patient/personal injury, anticipated problems and unusual situations</li>\n   <li>Actively participates in the development and gathering of Quality Improvement information</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; text-decoration-color:initial; text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-thickness:initial\">\n <br>\n  As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.\n</div>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree in Physical Therapy required</li>\n <li>PT certification from the state of Texas required</li>\n <li>BLS certification from the American Heart Association preferred</li>\n <li>2 years clinical experience OR 1-year medical residency experience preferred</li>\n <li>Acute, inpatient experience preferred</li>\n</ul>",
