    "requisitionDescription": "<div>\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Position:</strong></p><p>Melting &ndash; Furnace Operator</p><p><strong>Job Location:</strong></p><p>Brewton, AL</p><p><strong>Position Type:</strong></p><p>Full Time&nbsp;</p><p>Foundry workers typically work 40 hours per week, but they may work overtime during busy periods.</p><p><strong>Job Duties: </strong></p><p>Making detailed analyses of the materials melted, ensuring that every melting operation is performed to specifications.&nbsp;</p><p>Monitoring furnaces to ensure that temperatures do not fluctuate too much or drift out of safe ranges.</p><p>Monitoring equipment and processes to ensure that they are functioning properly, so that production can continue without interruption.</p><p>Mixing chemicals used in the casting process, such as silican, carbon and various other periodic table elements.</p><p>Transfer molten metal from one area to another.&nbsp;</p><p>Safely add scrap metal to molten iron.&nbsp;</p><p>Clean and maintain all melting and holding furnaces.&nbsp;</p><p>Operates cranes and forklifts to move raw materials within the foundry and finished products out of the foundry.</p><p>Maintaining records of all materials used in the casting process.</p><p>Maintain a safe and clean working environment.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p>Education: high school diploma or GED certificate.&nbsp;</p><p>5+ years experience in the metal foundry industry would be beneficial.&nbsp;</p><p>Abe to stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</p>\n    </div>\n  </div>\n",
