We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join our Knoxville, TN team, serving as a vital link in our warehouse operations to support efficient material flow, production success, and overall business performance.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As a Warehouse Specialist, you&rsquo;ll become a key player in our warehouse operations, think of yourself as both an operational expert and a proactive contributor who ensures seamless support for production teams and internal customers. This role is designed for a driven professional ready to excel in warehouse management while positioning for future growth into leadership positions, such as Warehouse Manager or supervisory roles.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, company health, safety, and security policies to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.</li><li>Unload, verify, and receive freight/materials against packing slips; enter receipts accurately into the ERP system; and store items efficiently in the warehouse or satellite locations.</li><li>Pick and prepare materials/orders for internal production customers, update picking slips, and promote raw materials daily (including quality testing as needed) to support uninterrupted production.</li><li>Conduct regular inventory counts for ERP accuracy, support stock rotation (FIFO principles), and palletize/package materials for safe, compliant internal delivery.</li><li>Deliver materials/freight to internal customers, coordinate small parcel pickups, and assist in adjusting schedules to meet dynamic business demands.</li><li>Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, material flow, space utilization, and overall operations&mdash;sharing insights directly with the Warehouse Manager.</li><li>Communicate effectively (verbal and email) with production teams, internal customers, vendors, and colleagues; assist in training new team members as needed.</li><li>Prepare hazmat shipments when required and perform basic maintenance checks on lifting equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) to ensure safety and readiness.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree a plus.</li><li>2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations (preferably in a manufacturing environment).</li><li>Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks; forklift certification strongly preferred.</li><li>Intermediate computer and database skills, including ERP system familiarity and basic report preparation.</li><li>Understanding of inventory management principles (e.g., stock rotation, material requirements planning/MRP) a plus.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear business correspondence.</li><li>Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with a proactive mindset for managing priorities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a clear interest in leadership, team coordination, and process improvement.</li><li>Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and push constantly; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hour Range: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour.</li><li>We review performance quarterly throughout your first year, offering raises based on your achievements.</li><li>Actual compensation will be based on experience and current job-related skills.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits &amp; Additional Compensation&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Eligible employees may receive access to the following benefits and programs, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance options</li><li>Optional life and disability insurance</li><li>Potential access to other incentives or compensation programs based on role and company policy.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why Explore Industries?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Because this isn&rsquo;t a role where you simply maintain inventory.
