    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n In your role as Sr. Manager of Operations, you will oversee and manage the team that will support the playout and origination of CW/MyNet Stations. These channels originate from our new Cloud-Base Master Control Platform. In this position, you will provide leadership, guidance and development on a team of Master Control Operators. Furthermore, this position is responsible for strategic planning and implementation of processes and procedures for the origination of our stations.\n</div>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and develop strategic operational plans for the FOX TV Stations that originate from this facility.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage and oversee the “day to day” operations of the Media Operations Center (MOC) in Bristol, VA.</li>\n <li>Communicates clear expectations regarding performance standards and measurements used to evaluate success of individuals and the department.</li>\n <li>Participates in recruiting and hiring direct reports.&nbsp;Assists in getting new staff embedded in the business.</li>\n <li>Recognizes and rewards efforts of high-performing employees.&nbsp; Provides regular and consistent feedback.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Partners with leadership and peers to align policies, procedures and best practices to create an effective, productive and efficient environment.</li>\n <li>Oversee and provides senior level direction to resolve technical, workflow and system issues to ensure effective long-term problem resolution.</li>\n <li>Maintains in-depth working knowledge of Content Origination and Operational of the Cloud-base playout systems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinates and drives the business relationship with key internal partners and significant Station’s Generals Managers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Consistently check in with staff and update regularly about workflow processes and changes made for the “day to day”.</li>\n <li>Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in developing positive employee relations.</li>\n <li>Prepare performance evaluations, writing and participating in yearly reviews.</li>\n <li>Take responsibility for the work environment, both culturally and physically</li>\n <li>Assist with special projects as necessary.</li>\n <li>Approach operations and resourcing using an agile and lean mindset.</li>\n <li>Be able to adjust to a 24/7 Facility needs and requirements.</li>\n <li>Compile data and/or generate reports, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>4+ years’ experience, in a significant Supervisory or Manager role in the television broadcasting/Local TV Station’s industry.</li>\n <li>Experience in managing an On-Air Operations team of 10+ staff members.</li>\n <li>Experience with On Air Master Control Automation Systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with Cloud Automation Playout System – AMAGI Cloudport (A PLUS)</li>\n <li>Experience in troubleshooting operational issues (Playout, Media, Caption, etc.).</li>\n <li>Experience with digital workflows and digital video technologies.</li>\n <li>Experience with Systems and Hardware for Content Ingest, Playout and Distribution.</li>\n <li>Experience and understanding in Switching Live Local News and Network Sporting Events. (A MUST).</li>\n <li>Experience in Local Station Operations.</li>\n <li>Excellent Writing Skills of Technical Operating Procedures.
