This role partners cross-functionally with commercial, technology, operations, procurement, and executive leadership teams to integrate sustainability into market strategy, product development, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The position leads Americhem&rsquo;s sustainability programs, reporting, and market-facing initiatives while identifying opportunities related to sustainable product innovation, regulatory preparedness, circular economy initiatives, and customer sustainability goals.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In this role, the Global Sustainability Leader translates evolving sustainability regulations, market trends, and customer expectations into practical business strategies that support long-term growth, operational improvement, and market differentiation.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the development and execution of Americhem&rsquo;s global sustainability strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives, operational priorities, and growth initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage and oversee the development and execution of environmental improvement plans and sustainability targets across Americhem&rsquo;s global regions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor evolving sustainability regulations, customer requirements, and industry trends to support regulatory preparedness, certification efforts, and long-term business strategy.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead sustainability reporting initiatives, including EcoVadis, customer disclosures, KPI tracking, and annual sustainability reporting.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with technology, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to translate sustainability data and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) insights into operational improvements and customer value.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support responsible sourcing, supplier sustainability initiatives, and sustainability-related business decision-making processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote a culture of sustainability across the organization through stakeholder awareness initiatives, employee engagement programs, internal communications, training, and workshops.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support commercial and business development teams with sustainability-related resources, customer communications, and market-facing materials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure adherence to international sustainability reporting standards and evolving regulatory requirements through transparent, accurate reporting and ongoing compliance monitoring.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and public speaking engagements to showcase our sustainability leadership.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive sustainability-driven market growth initiatives and OEM engagement opportunities across strategic business segments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities to leverage sustainability as a competitive differentiator through product innovation, customer engagement, and operational improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field (Master&rsquo;s degree preferred).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of experience in sustainability consulting, environment management, or a related role.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated success integrating sustainability initiatives into commercial strategy, product development, and operational decision-making.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards including GRI, EcoVadis, GHG Protocol, Scope 1&ndash;3 emissions, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and/or Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodologies.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Desired Qualities/Attributes</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of corporate strategy, business operations and organizational functions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Passion for sustainability and experience in driving change.&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div>\n",
