    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>We are looking for all levels of experience to work in the Maintenance Electrical trade.  Applicants will be assigned any Maintenance Electrical trade function with assistance from a more experienced Maintenance Electrical employee, including (but not limited to):</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform electrical hook-ups, repairs, and operational testing of Manufacturing Machinery and Plant Electrical Distribution Systems throughout BIW Facilities.</li>\n <li>Work will be performed within National Electrical Code and BIW safety guideline.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The pay range for this position ranges from $28.39/hr - $33.36/hr.</p>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Education/Training</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year Technical or Vocational training in electrical trade or equivalent Hands On Experience.</li>\n <li>NFPA 70E certification.</li>\n <li>Licensed Journeyman or Master.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Experience</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to understand and read controls electrical schematics and one-line diagrams of Power Distribution Systems.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work with a digital/analog test equipment i.e.., Oscilloscopes, Data logging testing equipment and other electrical/electronic test equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot motor controls, power panels, transformers, lighting systems, and grounding.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work at Heights and in Confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Must meet Maintenance Electrical Physical task analysis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 1-year prior experience performing industrial/commercial installations, motor control wiring, and power hook-up within NEC requirements.</li>\n <li>Previous experience troubleshooting AC/DC crane controls.</li>\n <li>Working/Demonstrated knowledge of Medium Voltage terminations and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated and clear understanding of the National Electrical Code through five years of practical application.</li>\n</ul>",
