For this role, you will join the SAS9 ARD team. We are looking for a C/C++ developer to help develop and maintain the SAS 9 platform-based solutions. You will help with plan and design work and take responsibility for large parts of the application. Furthermore, you will be joining a friendly team with a broad range of experience, to develop and maintain SAS9 and Viya 3.5 Solutions.</p>\n<p>Experience: 4-8 years</p>\n<p><strong>As a software Developer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the SAS Platform products code base, facilitate the selection of correct technical choices via collaboration and implement for scale, performance and usability configuration and Download tools.</li>\n <li>You will be mentored by senior developers to ensure the seamless development of installation and configuration tools for deploying SAS software.</li>\n <li>You would be expected to contribute to the enhancement of deployment automation tools and scripts.</li>\n <li>You will be involved in troubleshooting issues, bug fixing and providing support to ensure a smooth user experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience wit Programming in C, C++ </li>\n <li>Good understanding of OOPs, SOLID principles.</li>\n <li>Experience programming with Multithreading.  </li>\n <li>Experience in SAS programming would be a huge advantage.</li>\n <li>Understanding XML, JSON, and REST.</li>\n <li>Experience with Agile software development methodologies.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of software development processes and Quality Standards.</li>\n <li>Familiar with Agile methodology and with tools such as Jira, Confluence.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Git, Gerrit and GitHub.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working on Windows and Linux operating systems</li>\n <li>Good debugging skills, logical problem-solving capability, quick and self-learner to adopt and use new technologies.</li>\n <li>Ability to use Test Driven and CI/CD Development methodologies (Unit test and Integration Testing)</li>\n <li>Experience with multi-tier full stack web application and thick client application development would be an added advantage. Working knowledge of Web.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with disciplined unit, regression, and integration testing</li>\n <li>Experience of scripting language (python, Perl, shell-scripting) or Golang will be helpful.</li>\n <li>Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Mandatory Technical Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good exposure to design and development of C, C++ applications. </li>\n <li>Good design and programming skills.</li>\n <li>Sound OOPS/OOAD concepts, knowledge of SQL concepts and exposure to implementing design patterns.</li>\n <li>Good understanding of OOPs, SOLID principles.</li>\n <li>Program in C, C++ and Java in a Linux and/or Windows environment.</li>\n <li>Experience programming with Multithreading.</li>\n <li>Experience in SAS programming would be a huge advantage.</li>\n <li>Understanding XML, JSON, and REST.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in C, C++, Design patterns, Gradle, Jenkins.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You are welcome here.</strong></p>\n<p>At SAS, it’s not about fitting into our culture – it’s about adding to it.
