Description

Ascend has recently acquired ACTS (Augmentative Communication & Technology Services), a well-established San Francisco Bay Area AAC practice specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication services and assistive technology support for pediatric populations. As we continue expanding our AAC services, we are currently hiring an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-person position. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates. This role is ideal for an SLP with experience or strong interest in AAC evaluations, speech generating devices (SGDs), assistive technology, autism support, and complex communication needs. Experience with AAC platforms such as Tobii Dynavox, TouchChat, LAMP Words for Life, Proloquo2Go, and other communication systems is highly valued. Ascend is a pediatric-focused and employee-driven company that prioritizes work-life balance, mentorship, and clinical growth. We offer flexibility to work across a combination of settings including Early Intervention, outpatient clinics, and school districts throughout California. Our team includes experienced SLPs, CFs, SLPAs, OTs, and COTAs who are passionate about collaboration and patient care.
