Barrios prides itself on a people-focused culture that values creativity, diversity, professional growth, and a healthy work–life balance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>ServiceNow Administrator/Developer</strong> to support NASA’s Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) and associated IT services, including mission‑enabling applications built and hosted on the NASA FIT ServiceNow environment. The ideal candidate will configure, maintain, and extend ServiceNow applications that enable change management, incident/problem tracking, workflow automation, and custom modules in support of NASA’s operational needs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The<strong> ServiceNow Administrator/Develope</strong>r will:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer and configure the NASA FIT ServiceNow environment, including modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Request, CMDB, and custom applications.</li>\n <li>Design and develop new ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, integrations, and automation scripts.</li>\n <li>Support and enhance existing ServiceNow tools used by FOD and FIT teams (e.g., FIT SERVICENOW, ServiceNow FOD HITL Personnel Request)</li>\n <li>Collaborate with NASA stakeholders, developers, systems engineers, and process owners to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Ensure security compliance (PIV/Smartcard, NCAD, SAML/Kerberos integration).</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, plugin activation, and instance health monitoring.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and provide end‑user support.</li>\n <li>Maintain documentation, test plans, configuration records, and change control submissions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education/Experience/Skills:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited institution, plus three (3) to five (5) years of ServiceNow administration and development experience.</p></li>\n <li>Proficiency with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>ServiceNow Studio & Scoped Applications</li>\n   <li>Flow Designer & Workflow Editor</li>\n   <li>Scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)</li>\n   <li>REST integrations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience with ITSM, ITIL processes.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Agile development principles and experience working on Scrum teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain NASA network access (NCAD) and complete NAMS requests.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and documentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).</li>\n <li>ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NASA FIT ServiceNow environment or similar enterprise deployments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.</li>\n <li>Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</li>\n <li>Work may involve sitting for extended periods.</li>\n <li>May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.</li>\n <li>Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.</li>\n <li>Generally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.</li>\n <li>Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)</li>\n <li>Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.</li>\n <li>Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.</li>\n <li>This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><em>Don’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Barrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
