Understands the business environment and how the use of technology can impact the area.<br><br>\n Provides analysis and support for systems as well as system implementation and integration projects, which require system analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Maintains knowledge of existing systems including managing releases and application documentation.<br><br>\n Functions as a liaison between business and technical areas during the planning process and provides oversight throughout the project cycle. Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.&nbsp;<br><br>\n Resolves customer problems with software and responds to requested improvements and enhancements. Research requests to determine scope, size and impact. Works with customers to elicit requirements through a variety of techniques. Validates requirement information with stakeholders to ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity. Validates the developed solution to ensure it satisfies the stated requirements.&nbsp;<br><br>\n Maintains in-depth knowledge of existing systems and certification in vended applications when applicable. Works with a team to design, develop, or modify applications, via vendor tools or augmented tools developed within Mayo Clinic and are able to validate data integrity of changes introduced. Performs interface testing to ensure data integrity and flow.&nbsp;<br><br>\n Works on and manages projects of a small to mid-sized level. Creates test plans and evaluates current plans for improvement. Monitors relationship and performance of vendor or Mayo Clinic custom application owner to include contract terms and time frame, service level agreements, and rules of engagement.<br><br>\n Guides and advises less experienced Analysts and Education Services Systems Coordinators, and provides orientation and training for new employees. Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies that directly affect enterprise processes. Maintains awareness of overall enterprise architecture (i.e. security, privacy, architecture, and data assurance). May be required to provide extended days/hours support temporarily, based on the business need.</p>\n<p>This Education Application Analyst role supports Banner and DegreeWorks within the Education Technology Center, ensuring reliable academic data, degree audits, and student progression for MCCMS programs. The position collaborates across Education, IT, and vendors to maintain system stability, resolve issues, and support ongoing SIS enhancements and modernization initiatives.</p>\n<p>This is a limited tenure 2 year position.</p>\n<p><strong>This position is a combination of remote and on-site work; individual must live within a 100 mile driving distance to the Arizona, Jacksonville or Rochester Mayo Clinic campus.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>**Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. &nbsp;Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.</strong></p>",
