Do you want to advance racial and economic justice while tackling climate change?
Join our innovative non-profit and be part of a talented diverse team driven to expand access to climate solutions and green jobs across Massachusetts. Our mission is to accelerate an inclusive clean energy economy. We work hand-in-hand with cities and local community organizations to connect communities of color, non-English speakers and renters to energy-saving programs and affordable renewable energy. These programs help families and businesses save money, make their homes healthier, and combat climate change. We are also increasing green career opportunities for people of color, multilingual individuals and women.
We are seeking a collaborative, relationship-driven, community-centered Community Programs and Partnerships Manager to lead and strengthen partnerships with municipalities, community-based organization, and local stakeholders across Massachusetts. This role focuses on supporting community outreach campaigns that connect historically underserved residents and small businesses with energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys relationship-building, facilitating meetings, coaching community partners, and developing outreach strategies tailored to local needs. This position requires someone who is organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing multiple projects while collaborating across teams. The Community Programs and Partnerships Manager will work closely with Energy Advocates, vendors, city officials, and internal teams to ensure community members receive meaningful support and access to clean energy opportunities. The role also includes tracking program progress, sharing impact data, and identifying ways to improve community engagement efforts across partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact to partnerships and Energy Advocates: Serve as the main contact for partners and community-based Energy Advocates, leading biweekly meetings with community teams. Act as a liaison with All In Energy teams to ensure coordination and completion of administrative tasks. Prioritize amplifying community voices to identify barriers and solutions, gathering insights to enhance the program. Build trust-based relationships with community leaders and residents by centering lived experiences and promoting equitable participation in clean energy programs. Customize partnership support to meet each community's specific cultural, linguistic, and accessibility needs while ensuring historically underserved populations have meaningful opportunities to shape outreach strategies and program implementation.
Train and provide coaching to community-based Energy Advocates: Provide training and coaching to community-based Energy Advocates in planning community engagement, tracking activities, and implementing outreach strategies. Support them in identifying marketing needs, promoting energy efficiency programs, and responding to community feedback. Offer troubleshooting and access to learning opportunities, and assist in planning and leading segments of Community First Partnership training. Guide Energy Advocates engaging with small business owners, tabling at events, and door-to-door canvassing to promote energy efficiency and clean energy. Foster inclusive engagement practices that prioritize language access, cultural responsiveness, and equitable outreach to renters, low-to-moderate income households, immigrants, and communities historically excluded from clean energy investments.
Develop outreach strategies: Collaborate with Program and Communications teams to create and support outreach strategies that engage residents, particularly underserved groups, such as through local communication channels and in-person engagement. Facilitate knowledge-sharing and troubleshooting among communities on outreach effectiveness, and provide quarterly sessions for communities to reflect and refine their strategies. Support outreach efforts that reduce barriers to participation and elevate community-informed approaches that increase accessibility, representation, and trust in clean energy programs across diverse populations.
Educate the community and external stakeholders : Represent the organization by speaking at conferences and presenting to community groups, funders, and other stakeholders. Document and share impactful examples of our work to build awareness and excitement around our mission. Highlight the importance of racial, economic, and environmental justice in clean energy access while uplifting stories and successes from frontline and historically underserved communities.
Data tracking and reporting: Using our database systems, share progress with community teams to evaluate impact. Track community teams’ participation metrics such as attendance and timely budget report submission. Analyze participation trends and community feedback to help identify inequities, outreach gaps, and opportunities to improve program accessibility and engagement among historically underserved populations.
Support All In Energy’s mission with miscellaneous projects, as needed: Contribute to All In Energy’s mission through various projects, supporting or leading intra- and interdepartmental initiatives based on capacity and expertise. This may include hiring committees, DEI or professional development committees, and revising training materials, with responsibilities evolving as expertise grows. Contribute to fostering an inclusive organizational culture grounded in equity, collaboration, continuous learning, and community accountability.
