If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Research and analyze historical accounting data to prepare forward-looking / budgeting data</li>\n <li>Help prepare and analyze various key performance indicators (KPIs) applicable to the Architectural / Engineering industry</li>\n <li>Analyze month-end financial statements for unusual or unexpected results and research those items to determine cause/report findings.</li>\n <li>Design, build and test automated financial reports, forecasts, other financial models for various activities / departments / companies using a combination of historical accounting data and other available information.</li>\n <li>Monitor actual results against budgets as needed and report on or escalate significant differences</li>\n <li>Assist with the monthly financial reporting package as needed</li>\n <li>Support Financial Accounting Manager as needed with month-end or annual audit requests </li>\n <li>Take initiative for ongoing professional development</li>\n <li>Special projects and other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years overall accounting experience, preferably including experience in a large public accounting firm</li>\n <li>3+ Years of experience in financial analysis preferably in an Architecture/Engineering or similar project-based firm</li>\n <li>Experience in a multi-company, multi-currency entity including consolidation of foreign entities</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to review various data sets and identify patterns or items that fall outside expectations </li>\n <li>Advanced Excel skills including the ability to import and work with data from other systems</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of US GAAP; including recent pronouncements, particularly as they relate to the Architectural / Engineering industry</li>\n <li>Understanding of Project Accounting including concepts of revenue recognition, direct costs and indirect costs</li>\n <li>Detail oriented and highly organized</li>\n <li>Ability to explain accounting / financial information to non-accountants </li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines </li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with peers and senior management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CPA or CMA or similar credential</li>\n <li>Experience with BST Global ERP </li>\n <li>Experience with Insight Spreadsheet Server </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
