  "key_responsibilities": "<ul><li><!--block-->Understand the role of Third-Party Administration in claims management.</li><li><!--block-->Background in both Excess &amp; Surplus Lines (Lloyds) as well as Standard carrier programs.</li><li><!--block-->Knowledge of current case law, statutory law, DOI regulations, etc. that apply to claims practices and issues within the territory of operation.</li><li><!--block-->Determine, evaluate, investigate, negotiate and resolve large exposure property claims in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal standards. Including but not limited to:<ul><li><!--block-->Verify coverage under the applicable Commercial Property insurance policy.</li><li><!--block-->Coordinate with field adjusters and experts for inspections or further investigation.</li><li><!--block-->Review supporting documentation submitted for the claims and properly note the details of the review within the file.</li><li><!--block-->Analyze damage estimates and repair costs.</li><li><!--block-->Identify potential issues such as fraud, duplicate claims, or policy exclusions.</li><li><!--block-->Communicate with policyholders, adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders regularly to ensure constant claim progression and keep all involved parties updated.</li></ul></li><li><!--block-->Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients, including Reservation of Rights and Coverage Position Letters</li><li><!--block-->Handle appeals or disputes related to claim decisions.</li><li><!--block-->Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.</li><li><!--block-->Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.</li><li><!--block-->Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel to ensure client’s money and claims are protected.</li><li><!--block-->Present and explain claim overviews to business partners.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Participate in audits and quality control reviews.</li><li><!--block-->Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and best practices.</li><li><!--block-->Provide mentorship and technical support to junior and peer examiners as necessary.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><!--block--><br></div>",
