    "jobDescription": "<p><b>Overall responsibilities </b></p><p>• Lead the F&amp;A professionals based on-site and work with dedicated service providers from Marriott International in ensuring the business’s profitability and stability by providing strategic financial guidance to business partners supported by good analytics.</p><p>• Formulate and drive the financial strategy for the Resort Operation team and manage the financial planning process, including forecast, budget and long-range plans.</p><p>• Support Resort Operation team in all strategic priority projects (HLIs).</p><p>• Support all business case memos and ensure timely delivery to meet any project timelines.</p><p>• Establish reporting tools and metrics to consistently measure and evaluate performance in the Site F&amp;A Resort Operation arena.</p><p>• Lead Site F&amp;A Resort Operation team in ensuring continuous improvement of the department’s financial practices and procedures.</p><p>• Provide support and training to enable exemplary performance in a cross-functional environment.</p><p>• Drive process improvements, including technology adoption and automation projects.</p><p>• Maintain strong internal control, including financial controls, and manage risk with Business leaders.</p><p></p><p><b>Strategic Planning &amp; Business Partnerships:</b></p><p>• Lead and provide strategic direction, coaching and guidance to Site F&amp;A Resort Operation associates. Strategic Planning &amp; Business Partnerships:</p><p>• Act as a trusted advisor to Resort Operations leadership, influencing strategic and operational decisions.</p><p>• Drive financial strategy aligned with business priorities, including growth, cost optimization, and capital efficiency.</p><p>• Partner with Resort Operations and Asset Management to positively impact decision outcomes of resort operational.</p><p>• Provide clear, actionable insights from financial and operational data to support decision-making.</p><p>• Support and monitor special site projects as directed by the business needs.</p><p>• Support RDOF on Advisory Committee presentations and stakeholder communications.</p><p></p><p><b>Finance &amp; Accounting Management and Controls: </b></p><p>• Overall accountability for the F&amp;A Resort Operation delivery of core financial processes including but not limited to Accounting, Planning and Analysis, Tax, Business Partner Relations, Property owners’ association and Club Advisory Committees:</p><p>o Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning (LRP) processes. including action plans to meet financial objectives; developing models to assist inventory dedication changes, and maintenance fee assessments.</p><p>o Provide analytical support during budget, LRP, and capital planning review to identify cost savings and productivity opportunities.</p><p>o Support the RDOF in all strategic priority projects (HLIs) and ensure timely delivery to meet any project timelines.</p><p>o Lead and counsel site-based F&amp;A teams who are the primary F&amp;A business partners with onsite Resort Operation and cross-departmental site leadership.</p><p>o Collaborate with Tax and Regional F&amp;A teams to ensure appropriate tax treatment is applied to accounting transactions, and that intercompany agreements and other appropriate documentation are being put in place to support cross-border transactions to minimize our tax exposures.</p><p>o Ensures the delivery of site based financial and business performance analysis, reporting of cash flow modeling and financial statements that facilitate timely business decisions.</p><p></p><p>• Governance and Controls:</p><p>o Maintain a strong internal control environment by conducting property-level self-assessments, risk reviews, and compliance checks at each site.</p><p>o Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), IFRS, GAAP, MVWs’ policies, and lead remediation efforts for any identified control gaps.</p><p>o Support audit readiness and statutory compliance through proactive documentation (e.g. operational processes and maintaining a strong environment of financial control) and oversight (e.g. timely and adequate local statutory filings for each operational entity).</p><p></p><p>• Contributes to business results by:</p><p>o Lead the Resort Operations Finance team in delivering results aligned with budget, forecast, and long-range plans, ensuring financial discipline and accountability across all sites.</p><p>o Collaborate with Operations, HR, Legal, and Regional Finance to gain alignment and support for financial strategies, process improvements, and compliance efforts.</p><p>o Look beyond traditional practices to adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve financial and operational efficiency.</p><p>• Serve as a statutory director for Asia-based entities when required.</p><p></p><p><b>Team Development </b></p><p>• Build and lead high-performing teams by regularly reviewing and updating Finance team structures and operating models for efficiency and effectiveness.</p><p>• Build organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured succession planning.</p><p>• Align team structures with evolving business needs and long-term strategy.</p><p>• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.</p><p>• Attract, develop, and retain top finance talent.</p><p>• Work cross-functionally to identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team performance and goal achievement.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>Marriott Vacations Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.</span></p>",
