    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><em>The store manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, and supervising all employees with the support of our Human Resources team. They oversee and are accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, and managing operating costs and shrinkage. Communicating and enforcing high standards for customer service and cleanliness, along with maintaining a fully staffed store with well-qualified employees are key steps in achieving positive results. The Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining outstanding customer service standards, to make Base Camp the destination of choice for our customers.</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Exhibits excellence in customer service. Always greeting and thanking all customers and resolving any customer concerns that may arise in a timely and professional manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Report to work on time, neatly groomed and in uniform.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hire and train positive individuals to become members of the Base Camp team.</li><li>Motivate, encourage, and challenge all employees under your direction.</li><li>Understand and promote leadership and development opportunities for their store personnel.</li><li>Enter all sales in Passport at the time of sale.</li><li>Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.</li><li>Ensures proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed.</li><li>Complete daily manager site walks, looking for opportunities to enhance site image and monitoring the property for hazards that may exist.</li><li>Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner.</li><li>Implement monthly promotions, ensure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.</li><li>Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the Price Book Coordinator.</li><li>Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.</li><li>Supervise, and discipline all store employees according to company policy.</li><li>Complete daily paperwork, computer entry and deposit in a timely manner as established by management and accounting.</li><li>Prepare and make daily deposits, except on the weekend when the Assistant Manager or other authorized person is doing the deposit.</li><li>Monitor competitive retail fuel pricing and report or adjust pricing per current policy.</li><li>Conduct effective monthly store meetings.</li><li>Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations.</li><li>Follow and enforce all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store operations.</li><li>Be safety and security conscious, following guidelines set out in the safety manual. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Process and report all employee and/or customer incidents or accidents, following company procedures.</li><li>Must be available to respond to emergencies at any time.</li><li>Reviews surveillance video periodically and investigate specific incidents.</li><li>Provide feedback regarding changes to company programs and policies.</li><li>Treat customers, co-workers, and vendors as you want to be treated.</li><li>Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol.</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 12 months experience in customer service role or equivalent retail.</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 3 months as an assistant manager or equivalent role.</strong></li><li><strong>Background check.</strong></li><li><strong>Must be available to work any shift.</strong></li><li><strong>Time &amp; organizational management.</strong></li><li><strong>Ability to solve problems in sometimes challenging circumstances.</strong></li><li><strong>Strong oral &amp; written communication.</strong></li><li><strong>Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.</strong></li><li><strong>Occasionally requires lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
