As a <strong>Patient Service Representative</strong>, you will provide day-to-day positive experiences to internal and external customers.&nbsp;</p><p>The Ardent Counseling Center has a part-time/full-time Patient Service Representative (PSR), position available (15-40 Hours/Week).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Report to the Office Manager, provide office support at the front desk for Behavioral Health services, including but not limited to: reception, scheduling, and patient assistance related duties at designated points of service to ensure a high-quality level of patient service and satisfaction.</li><li>Greets incoming patients and visitors. Assures patient demographics and eligibility are correct.</li><li>Collects co-pays and balances due.</li><li>Respond to patient and visitor questions in a timely and appropriate manner utilizing knowledge of the organization&#39;s policies and procedures.</li><li>Establish good communication with other departments, team members, other physician offices, hospitals, or patients in response to requests for information, follow-up, or problem resolution.</li><li>Perform various clerical duties as needed in assigned work areas.</li><li>Assist with medical records and clinical personnel as needed.</li><li>Maintain work and waiting areas in a neat and professional manner.</li><li>Attend staff meetings as requested.</li><li>Ability to handle and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask. Must be able to critically respond in emergency situations.</li><li>Register new patients and schedule new and follow-up appointments via Electronic Health Record System.
