We support a healthy work-life balance and recognize the importance of time outside of work commitments. </li>\n</ul>\n<h3><em>Job Summary </em> </h3>\n<p>The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent and Senior Superintendent with the management of the job site as it relates to home construction, while providing excellent customer service. This person is a front-line ambassador for Holt Homes and represents the company with the highest level of integrity, character, professionalism, courtesy, and ethics.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>High School education completed</li>\n <li>College degree or trade school preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year of residential construction experience preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to perform physical requirements of job, including but not limited to stooping, use of ladders, lifting 75 pounds on a regular basis, traversing rough terrain and jobsite obstacles, etc.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in adverse weather, jobsite trailer, and truck</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to navigate communities</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)</li>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><em>Skills</em></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Memorable customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate high-tension interactions with homebuyers</li>\n <li>Familiarity with calendar or scheduling in Outlook is preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, both verbal and written, in the English language</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task</li>\n <li>Work independently as well as in a group setting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Responsibilities</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide Construction skills including minor carpentry work, clean-up, painting, and similar minor punch list tasks which are not completed by subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Recognize and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction.</li>\n <li>Inspect each house daily to assure the quality of workmanship. Ensure all work is in accordance with plans and specifications and determine the status as it compares to the production schedule.</li>\n <li>Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners.</li>\n <li>Walk each completed home before the homeowner walk-through and closing sign-off to make sure that the home is complete, clean, and meets standards of quality.</li>\n <li>Assist in homeowner orientation and any re-walks, ensuring homeowner satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Note outstanding homeowner walk-through items and schedule subcontractors to repair.</li>\n <li>Assist Superintendents in scheduling of subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Inspect and enforce job safety requirements.</li>\n <li>In absence of Senior Superintendent or Superintendent, make sure all schedules, policies, and guidelines are maintained.</li>\n <li>Execute company policies and enforce uniformity on construction methods to ensure compliance with quality standards.</li>\n <li>Monitor subdivision cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.</li>\n <li>Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as needed or required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Work Environment</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly uses a computer with repeated movements to enter data, differentiate between colors, shades, and brightness, and read from a screen for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Heavy physical activity involving the handling of average and heavy objects, regularly standing, crawling, bending or stooping.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Comprehensive Benefits Package</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Compensation: We provide a competitive compensation structure that rewards performance and results.</li>\n <li>Health & Wellness: Comprehensive coverage includes medical, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).</li>\n <li>Financial Future: Access a 401(k) retirement savings plan.</li>\n <li>Time Off: Our time-off benefits include vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and other leave types (bereavement, jury duty, FMLA, military leave).</li>\n <li>Insurance & Protection: Company-provided life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage are included.
