Assistant Property Manager
Location : Multi-family apartment community in South King County, WA
Pay: $65,000-$70,000/year, Full-Time
Reports To : Property Manager
Overview
The Assistant Property Manager supports daily community operations, including leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and reporting. This role partners closely with the Property Manager and assumes full operational responsibility in their absence to ensure consistent performance and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date resident files, including rent records, deposits, and lease documentation Process leasing transactions such as move‑ins, move‑outs, renewals, and required notices Assist with rent collection efforts, delinquency follow‑up, and notice distribution Respond to resident questions, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and urgency Conduct property tours, support leasing activity, and contribute to resident retention efforts Assist with unit inspections, apartment turns, and coordination with maintenance and vendors Prepare reports and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations Support marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and on‑site community events as needed Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in property management or a related role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow‑through Professional, polished communication style with strong customer service skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic property management software Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Availability for weekends or after‑hours coverage when business needs require Compensation and Benefits
