Join a growing leader in the building products industry and help us continue to be the Company of Choice.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Project Collaboration & Customer Interaction   </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with outside sales, operations manager, and customers to understand the project</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Solve complex issues in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Coordinate with operations for delivery of material to the job site</li>\n <li>Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Document all aspects of any given project through sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.</li>\n <li>Work with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping details</li>\n <li>Purchase material for assigned jobs. Select vendors, negotiate best price for purchased material and have knowledge of vendor pricing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Estimating & Submittals</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Take Sales calls and receive orders</li>\n <li>Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service</li>\n <li>Create submittals and transmit them to customers</li>\n <li>Create “take-offs” on doors, frames and hardware</li>\n <li>Create machine sheets and other design specs for frame, door and hardware products as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 years with Wood Doors, Hollow Metal Frames and Commercial Door Hardware</li>\n <li>DHI certification a plus</li>\n <li>Knowledge of contract documents</li>\n <li>Experience with large projects</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong reading comprehension</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong time management and organizational skills</li>\n <li>MS Word and Excel</li>\n <li>Knowledge with Specworks, Comsense, Protech or similar industry related software preferred</li>\n <li>Current knowledge on codes, products and design changes for doors, frames and finish hardware</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Operations Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p>\n<p>The pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
