This position will enhance program strength, course offerings, and student opportunities in the school under the supervision of the Program Director and Dean.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Engage in class and student assessment while maintaining all necessary paperwork and records based on Program Director requirements.</li>\n\t<li>Collaborate with colleagues in both program and field advancement activities such as research involvement and clinical outreach.</li>\n\t<li>Show evidence of successful supervision of internships in the field.</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate interpersonal/intrapersonal skills, especially in engaging with traditional and non-traditional university students.</li>\n\t<li>Evidence of high level of personal agency and initiative.</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate organizational skills for curriculum management and program design including analysis of data for continuous improvement.</li>\n\t<li>Possess ability to contribute positively to a dynamic setting with collaborative faculty.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Documentation of successful experience as an undergraduate professor or post-secondary teacher and preferable to have leadership experiences and displayed work in the field.</li>\n\t<li>Experience and networking in the Middle Tennessee region preferred but not necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Ph.D. or related doctoral degree preferred, but master&rsquo;s accepted</p>\n\n<p><strong>Additional Information:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<p>Completed application will include:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Letter of interest, including description of approach to teaching painting in an undergraduate liberal arts college</li>\n\t<li>Updated and detailed curriculum vitae</li>\n\t<li>Names and contact information of three professional references (letters of recommendation are requested once finalists are chosen)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Cumberland University is a teaching-focused and student-centered bachelor&rsquo;s and master&rsquo;s level university.
