    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Butler Machinery is seeking a motivated and customer-focused <strong>Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR)</strong> to join our team. In this role, you will promote and sell the value of our parts and service offerings while assisting sales representatives with customer presentations and account development. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new larger-scale customers within your assigned territory, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and ensuring our large-scale customers receive exceptional service and support.</p><p>This position involves regular communication with customers&mdash;both in person and over the phone&mdash;to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored parts and service solutions. Success in this role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Periodic travel within your territory will be required to visit customer sites, strengthen partnerships, and generate new business opportunities.<br><br><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Establishes customer relationships.</li><li>Assists salesmen with customer presentations</li><li>Communicates with the Aftermarket Sales Manager to relay parts and service opportunities as well as progress on tasks assigned, etc.</li><li>Markets and sells the value of CAT parts and service.&nbsp;</li><li>Find new markets, customers, and applications within the territory.</li><li>Performs equipment inspections to include certified used equipment, warranty inspections, certified truck service, and customer repair inspections.</li><li>Develop good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.</li><li>Provides input on annual forecasts for territory potential.</li><li>Resolve customer issues.</li><li>Works with Customer Account Managers and Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.</li><li>Keeps good customer records. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>2+ Years of Service and Parts experience are minimally required.</li><li>1+ Years of Sales experience preferred.</li><li>Proven leadership ability.</li><li>Advanced computer skills essential (Word Documents, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)</li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals both verbally and written.</li><li>Ability to think strategically, make decisions, develop relationships, handle conflict, negotiate, present ideas, use resources effectively, and display mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Must have and maintain a clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to work extra hours at short notice.</li><li>Overnight travel as needed. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As a family business for three generations, we currently employ over 900 associates in 20 locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska.
