Description Occupational Therapist - PRN Who we are: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA, has 204 beds. It is a 204-bed teaching hospital offering advanced acute care in Delaware County and Southwest Philadelphia. What we're looking for: We are looking for a dynamic Certified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! What you will do in this role: Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Graduate of an accredited American Occupational Therapy program culminating in an associate's degree Current and valid state AOTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered Inpatient experience preferred CPR certification (when required) Will consider new grads Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
