          "text": "<p>We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual with excellent technical and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and who takes pride in producing quality work with a high degree of accuracy and superior attention to detail. An ideal candidate will have experience with using 3D software for structural drafting / design in an engineering consulting environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Working closely with engineers to develop structural drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data, to be issued for a wide range of industries.</p></li><li><p>Perform drafting using AutoCAD and Revit to develop structural (and civil) drawings</p></li><li><p>Drawings to include plans, sections, details, and general notes.</p></li><li>Checking and revising drawings</li><li><p>Preparing and assisting in the release of drawings and documentation for projects</p></li><li>Prepare material schedules and Bill of Materials (BOM)</li><li><p>Performing calculations in accordance with established methods</p></li><li><p>Actively working on improving drafting skills and increasing knowledge of structural design though self-training, in-house training, and external courses</p></li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Diploma in&#xa0;“Structural&#xa0;&amp; Civil Technology” or equivalent educational background from a recognized technical institute or university</li><li>Minimum of 8 year of practical experience in preparing structural drawings (plans, elevation, and details) within an engineering consulting firm (or operational environment)</li><li>General understanding of buildings and their construction, with details of structural steel framing and reinforced concrete foundations, etc.</li><li>Experience to include structural steel and reinforced concrete structures.</li><li>Proven experience and high competency using AutoCAD required.</li><li>General use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam Revit.</li><li>Highly proficient with Revit is required</li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work as a team in a multi-discipline environment</li><li>Bilingual language skills an asset - English/French</li></ul>",
