Description

The Organization Based in the progressive Guildford area of Surrey, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) is an association of nearly 5,000 real estate professionals who live and work in the BC communities of North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission. The FVREB marked its 100-year anniversary in 2021. The FVREB is small enough to be nimble and bold, yet large enough to be able to make a difference. With a long tradition of excellence, our mission is to enable the success of our members by providing tools, education, thought leadership and opportunities to enhance their expertise. As such, our members are publicly valued for their skill, professionalism and contribution to their community. We are an employer that fosters a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and connectedness. We demonstrate care, value and support of our people with an emphasis on wellness. We dream big, we imagine the future, and then we make it happen. Because we can. We invite you to join our team and be a part of our journey. The IDEAL Candidate We are looking for a high-accountability execution lead to operationalize the Professional Development (PD) strategy and ensure programs are delivered at a consistently high standard. Ideally, you have: A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience supporting learning initiatives, professional development, or training programs, including teaching, facilitation, or learner support; with strong instructional design fundamentals grounded in adult learning principles and effective content structuring. Working knowledge of digital learning environments, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning tools. Understanding of operational processes and workflows, with demonstrated ability to document procedures clearly and accurately. Some experience in project management and identifying gaps or inefficiencies in processes and contributing to improvements. Exceptional customer service skills, with a learner‑centered approach that values responsiveness, clarity, and support within educational and professional development environments. It goes without saying that you’re a great team player who works well collaboratively and have a high level of personal and professional integrity. What You’ll Do This role works in close partnership with the Manager, Professional Development, translating program direction into well-executed, high-quality learning experiences for our members and ensuring consistency across delivery. The incumbent will also be monitoring program performance, including participation, financials, delivery outcomes, and then provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and program optimization. Ensure programs are delivered in a way that meets member expectations for quality, relevance, and accessibility. Use participant feedback and engagement data to inform improvements to the learner experience. Translate program direction and SME input into structured learning materials and delivery plans. Develop and maintain program documentation and SOPs What’s In It for You: A competitive Total Rewards package that includes employer-paid “top tier” group health benefits and generous retirement savings. A 35-hour workweek in support of work life flexibility. Exceptional paid time off that includes 3 weeks vacation to start, 13 stats & holiday observances, plus various personal leaves to help you manage all that life throws at you. Our own free-standing building with modernization plans in the works, and FREE on-site parking, close to shopping and green space. A great values-driven and fun team with a renewed focus on continuous improvement, employee/member experience, self-actualization and MORE. Yes, you can make a difference here! Please apply by submitting your resume and cover letter. To be considered for employment, candidates will be required to provide proof of citizenship, permanent residency, or eligibility to work in Canada without restriction. Employment is contingent on the satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening and other role relevant background checks.   This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted. We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible recruitment process. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates participating in all stages of hiring.
